We work hard every day to provide additional value to our members by being the voice of the tourism & hospitality industry.
Our organization represents over half of total rooms in the city, along with a large number of allied member companies that regularly do business with hotels in San Antonio.
Members have the distinct advantage of exposure to hotel decision makers as well the opportunity to build relationships with local industry leaders.

The San Antonio Pineapple Award is presented to those who represent the best in their field, recognizes the amazing contributions our members provide to the hospitality industry in San Antonio.
Pineapple Awards are given to winners selected from applications received across a variety of categories for employees, managers, hotels, and allied partners.
Special discretionary awards are also given for outstanding service to the Association as the Volunteer of the Year and lifetime industry accomplishment with the Sieggy Lifetime Achievement Award.

The inaugural event, held during National Travel & Tourism week, was a huge success, awarding 11 remarkable individuals and companies with a San Antonio Pineapple (SAP) Award and served a celebration of the impact the hotel industry has on travel and tourism.

The organization serves almost 300 lodging establishments and vendors who provide products and services to the industry.
Membership dues are based on the number of rentable units for hotel properties and a flat rate for non-hotel companies (Allied Members).
Applications for membership will be processed by a SAHLA staff member and you will receive an email communication upon approval (usually in 3 to 5 days).
The organization serves almost 300 lodging establishments and vendors who provide products and services to the industry.
