This spacious suite was designed by Ilse Benard, and constructed by Isaac Ortiz, to transport you to the beach.
The complete remodel included removing two closets to make room for the stunning oversized shower.
Popcorn ceilings were eliminated and old iron water pipes which had been encased in 4 of poured cement were dug out and replaced.
The cement did not come out easily, and what you think happens when you use a jack hammer on a second story floor is just what happened: they came through the foyer ceiling.

This visually stunning suite was designed by Karen Nelson and Tricia Goins of Design With Your Dime in Mind to pay homage to the infamous Balinese Room that once adorned Galveston's Seawall.
With our guests in mind, we focused on making this room comfortable while maintaining a sense of elegance and highlighting the historical features of the space.
The long suite with three separate sections is reminiscent of the Balinese Room's structure which cascaded out over the Gulf.
You walk into the sitting area of the suite with a futon that converts to a full size bed and a large-screen TV mounted to the wall over the bamboo desk and chair.
