Coveside is a stylish Bed and Breakfast in Maine. We are open year-round* for your enjoyment. Coveside is set on a rocky cove, near the hamlet of Five Islands in Georgetown, Maine. Every guest room has a view of the working lobster dock across our cove, and beyond to Sheepscot Bay. In addition to lobster boats, neighbors on the cove include gulls, heron, osprey, a resident eagle, even an occasional moose.
We strive to be environmentally friendly in all aspects of our operation and have been designated an "Environmental Leader" by the State of Maine, and recognized as a "Green Leader" by TripAdvisor. Our location is secluded and serene, yet the attractions of Boothbay Harbor, Freeport, Camden, and the bustle of Maine's coastal highway, Route 1, are within easy reach.
There are a variety of activities to fill your days. After a memorable breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the bay, you might launch your kayak from our dock to explore the miles of coves, islands, and waterways in our area; or walk the stunning beaches, headlands, and woodland trails at nearby Reid State Park.
