No motels in northern Iowa near the casino and Interstate Highway 35 can be compared in convenience, price, friendliness and cleanliness to our family run motel, owned and operated by Debra and Daniel Luedtke, located just a half mile south of downtown Northwood, Iowa on Highway 65. A "Mom and Pop" motel, we're only about 5 miles south of the Minnesota border and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service as well as a friendly and helpful attitude toward our guests.

Check out some of our guest comments here. We keep our rooms exceptionally clean and have refrigerators and microwave ovens in our rooms for the convenience of our guests. We are a "pet friendly" motel and it's a short half mile walk to beautiful Swensrud and Hurd parks.
Services
The Italianate-style building housing the museum was built in 1879 as the Worth County Courthouse.
When a new courthouse was built in 1892, the building was used as a high school for more than 20 years and later as a public library, with the upstairs as a youth center.
Farmers in the area bought the two acres that comprise the cemetery in 1878.
It was first known as the Norwegian-Danish Evangelical Lutheran Conference Cemetery and later as the North Fertile Cemetery.
It now is Chapel Hill Cemetery.
