Bighorn Park is a family owned and operated resort with an RV park, cabins, motel, and tenting area. We are located in the scenic Bighorn Sheep Canyon, and nestled on the Arkansas River in the sunny Colorado Rocky Mountains. Namesake Bighorn Sheep are frequently seen on the rugged rock cliffs across the river, while one might be fly fishing. Bighorn Park is a great place for your family and friends to stay while you visit the Royal Gorge Bridge and the Sand Dunes National Park.
While here, you might want to visit a ghost town or an old mine, as well as partaking in a Jeep and/or ATV tour/rentals, horseback riding, hiking, and biking. And there is always a white-water rafting trip waiting for you! Our nearby winter time sports include skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. There is something for all seasons; even big game and small game hunting.
If you just want to spend the day at Bighorn Park, you might want to relax by the pool while the others swim in our family swimming pool.

The cabin that we stayed in was just perfect, like a home away from home.
All are rustic and authentic in a log building, just like our log cabins.

Enjoy a pleasant cross-breeze coming into your room through an open window, while relaxing, and taking in the fresh scent of the pine trees.
These people are very nice.
Had to come a day early and they put us up in the 'motel' as we had a cabin already the next night.
River right behind the campground, activities like horseshoes and volleyball plus playground for littles.
