Originally began in the 1950's with only 2 rooms! The Gateway Motel expanded in the 70's with the current layout of the property adding 16 rooms. Some rooms still hold the charm of the 70's, while others have been newly updated. We are a family owned and operated motel. A quiet country setting on 3 1/2 acres bordered by orchards and farmland offers a great place to relax.
The motel has ample parking for dune vehicles and boat trailers. Offers cable TV, WI-FI, microwave and refrigerator in all rooms, picnic area with grills, play area. We are close to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Pentwater, sand drag racing, fishing, swimming, golf, horseback riding, bike trails, a gem factory, Michigan's largest amusement park and the car ferry.
Pets are welcome but may not be left unattended. Now open all year.
