The city of Green River was once a stomping ground for Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch, and, as you might expect from the name, is a haven for river runners who raft places such as Desolation and Gray Canyons. The climate makes for perfect melon growing, and Green River boasts some of the best melon in the world. Green River is the West, pure and simple - wide open, untapped, solitary, and mystical.

The population is around 1,000 people, but this isn't your average small community. Goblin Valley State Park and the San Rafael Swell are other can't-miss natural marvels nearby. No matter your personal brand of outdoor recreation, return from your adventures in Utah's red rock country to Budget Inn Motel. We offer free continental breakfast and large spacious rooms.

In a variety of room layouts. Other amenities include cable tv (over 50 channels), free wi-fi, ice machine, etc. Restaurants are nearby and the city park is across the street from us. Green River, Utah, is 180 miles southeast of Salt Lake City on Interstate 70, and about one hour north of Moab.
