The Joshua Grindle Inn is an enchanting property nestled atop a knoll overlooking Mendocino Village and the Pacific Ocean. This owner-operated Mendocino bed and breakfast offers a variety of romantic guestrooms amidst 2 acres of vibrant gardens and magnificent Cypress trees. Please note: There is a 2-night minimum for all stays during the summer season and 3 night minimum on holiday weekends.
In the main house, a lovely Victorian built in 1879, you will find our beautiful Parlor and five romantic guest rooms all with private baths and featuring antique furnishings, some with fireplaces, deep soaking or jetted tubs. Behind the main house under a swath of Cypress trees and surrounded by lush gardens sits the two spacious and private Cypress Cottage rooms.
Both offer large spa baths and romantic gas fireplaces with comfortable seating. Behind the main house we also the Water Tower guestrooms. The Water Tower guestrooms also have private baths and two are outfitted with wood burning stoves as well as a cozy sitting area.
