We are truly conveniently located right on the "Sweet Spot in the Middle", between Steinwehr Avenue and Baltimore Street.
Our two-story hotel features 51 non-smoking rooms with a favorable layout that allows you to request rooms with beautiful wood-look flooring or carpet.
Some of our rooms have private balconies, porches, and first-floor private entrances.
He started working with us in 2000 as our Night Auditor.
After 15 years he gained the privilege to move up to General Manager.
He somehow manages to wrangle his team with good humor, charm, and a caring personality.
His dream job was to work in the movies as a cinematographer, editor, and/or director.
He enjoys the history surrounding Gettysburg and, especially, seeing our regulars and meeting new guests.
Charlie loves animals and has two cats, Spanky and Lily.
She is a mighty force in a small package who focuses her knowledge and creativity on our day-to-day operations and online presence.

Of the numerous hills and ridges that constitute the battlefield, none was more vital to the fighting or its outcome.
The soldiers knew this as well, one Northern officer remarking, "It is the only position."
The ability of the Union Army to prevail at Gettysburg depended upon holding Cemetery Hill.
What the Confederates did occupy was the town, and their front line ran less than two hundred yards from where our inn stands.

Andy is one of our valid guest and served as a Licensed Battlefield Guide at the Gettysburg National Park primarily during the summer months.
When he is not giving tours, Andy can usually be found roaming the fields looking for that perfect shot.
Non-Special-Event requires a valid credit card to guarantee your reservation.
Payment is due in full upon arrival.
For any reservation that has not arrived before 8:30 P.M. the credit card on file will be pre-authorized for the first night of the stay.
If the credit card is declined the reservation will be canceled.
However, we will try to contact the guest before canceling the reservation.
Special-Event requires at least a Friday and Saturday two-night minimum stay.
One night's deposit required at the time of booking.
