Services
Walk into Buckhorn Inn, a Gatlinburg bed and breakfast, and discover a long spacious great room with a stone fireplace and large windows facing the ever-changing view of the Great Smoky Mountains.
Huge white pines frame the view, and a wildflower meadow below the Inn completes the panorama.
At one end of this room, two old-fashioned high-backed sofas form an intimate sitting area in front of the fireplace.
At the other end, guests are served hearty breakfasts and delicious four-course gourmet dinners prepared by two outstanding chefs.
That makes for a lot of history - made possible through the efforts of its owners and staff but mostly by the its guests who have loved and valued the unique character of this gem in the heart of the Smokies.

For a fun read and to find out about what was happening in the year of our creation, read All About 1938.
In 1938, a young couple in their late twenties opened an inn in an isolated spot near the town of Letter from Audrey Bebb in 1938Gatlinburg which bordered the newly established Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Douglas and Audrey Bebb had completed their university studies shortly after the collapse of the financial markets which ushered in the Great Depression.
Like so many young men during this period, Doug had found employment hard to come by, and he had traveled throughout the country doing odd jobs, fishing for salmon off the West Coast and later working at the Chicago Exposition of 1933-34.
Buckhorn Inn was founded in 1938 by Douglas Bebb (1907-1984) and his wife Audrey Bebb (1911-1950).
Douglas Bebb and his wife Audrey became interested in the Smokies because of Doug's parents, amateur botanists, who visited the newly established Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the early 1930s.
They encouraged Doug and Audrey to develop an inn in this new tourist destination.
Availing himself of his parents' help, he and Audrey bought a 25 acre site on which he built and developed Buckhorn Inn, the third oldest establishment in Gatlinburg and the oldest accommodation establishment still operating in Sevier County today.
Our Gatlinburg bed and breakfast offers a number of lodging options.
In the Inn's main building, there are six traditional rooms and three premier rooms - all beautifully furnished with antiques and artwork.
A short stroll away, seven private cottages with living rooms and fireplaces are nestled in the woodlands around the Inn.
Three gorgeous guesthouses offer even more privacy and space.
