A two minute walk out the front door to the Kal-Haven Trail featuring hiking, biking and other activities along its 34 miles. We have bicycles available for the guests. Rob and I came to South Haven for years on day trips and vacations from our home in Lansing, Illinois. We enjoyed the beaches, the sunsets, the Kal Haven Trail and the small town feel. We have always loved to entertain and thought that owning a Bed and Breakfast in our favorite place to relax would be just perfect for us. In 2005 we took a huge leap of faith and bought a place that caught our eye with the Black River on one side and the Kal Haven Trail just about on the other.
The 1920's farmhouse had gone through some remodels over the years, but we envisioned its potential as an inn with some major remodeling.

We have bicycles available for your use or you can use your walking shoes because the Kal-Haven Trail is only two minutes from our front door.
Heading west on the Trail you'll cross a rustic covered bridge on your way toward South Haven and all it has to offer.
For the more adventurous, head east on the Trail for some 30 miles all the way to Kalamazoo.
